A colorful and romantic sunset on the banks of the Tiber river, in the historic heart of the Eternal City, seen from the Ponte Sant'Angelo. This bridge was built under the emperor Hadrian in 134 AD. to connect the heart of Rome with the mausoleum of the emperor himself, the current Castel Sant'Angelo. A few centuries later, under the pontificate of Pope Clement IX, the architect and sculptor Giovanni Lorenzo Bernini was commissioned to create the current balustrade decorated with ten statues of the Angels of the Passion of Christ. According to tradition, it was Bernini's pupils who sculpted the statues of the angels in 1669. On the sides the high walls of the embankments built at the end of the 18th century, surmounted by centuries-old trees painted in the first colors of autumn. In 1980 the historic center of Rome was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Super wide angle and high definition image in 16:9 format.
