Lycoris is a perennial herbaceous plant of the Amaryllis family. Lycoris flowers are usually referred to as its flowers. They are native to East Asia and were later introduced to Japan. They are also widely planted in the United States. Lycoris flowers are poisonous. The poison is mainly in the stems and leaves. It is poisonous only if swallowed, not touched. If accidentally eaten, it will cause difficulty breathing and hoarseness, and you need to seek medical attention immediately. This plant can be grown at home, and the toxicity will not spread through the air.

Grevillea banksii, also known as Red silky oak, is evergreen shrub / tree, which is native to Gueensland, Australia and belongs tp the Proteaceae family. The clusters of dark red flowers appear sporadically all year with bloom heaviest from late spring to early summer.
