Oslo, Norway: Norwegian Royal Palace - Slottet - the main residence of the King of Norway. It was built 1825-1849 by Charles III John (Karl III Johan), Jean-Baptiste Jules Bernadotte born in France, who reigned as king of Norway and Sweden. The Karl Johan monument is an equestrian statue by Brynjulf ​​Bergslien, installed in 1875.
