The geography of Hakkari, which has been banned for a long time due to terrorism in the southeast of Turkey, has now started to welcome its visitors. Hakkari's magnificent Sat lakes and the Uludoruk (Reşko - Geliyaşin) summit (4,135m) of the Cilo mountains have become a national park. Lakes in Hakkari Cilo and Sat Mountains National Park are glacial lakes formed by melting snow waters.
