Memphis, Egypt - July 19, 2022: The ruins of ancient Memphis have yielded a large number of sculptures representing Rameses II. Within the museum in Memphis is a giant statue of him carved in monumental limestone, about 10 metres in length. It was discovered in 1820 near the southern gate of the temple of Ptah by Italian archaeologist Giovanni Caviglia. Because the base and feet of the sculpture are broken off from the rest of the body, it is currently displayed lying on its back.

Valley of the Kings, Luxor, Egypt - July 22, 2022: The tomb of Ramses V and Ramses VI is also known as KV9. Tomb KV9 was originally constructed by Pharaoh Ramesses V. He was interred here, but his uncle, Ramesses VI, later reused the tomb as his own.\n\nThe tomb has some of the most diverse decoration in the Valley of the Kings. Its layout consists of a long corridor, divided by pilasters into several sections, leading to a pillared hall, from which a second long corridor descends to the burial chamber.

The Basilica of Saint-Denisis a large former medieval abbey church and present cathedral in the commune of Saint-Denis, a northern suburb of Paris. The tympanum sculpture on the pediment is one characteristics of old Supreme Court building. These were the work of Cavalieri Rudolfo Nolli, a Milanese sculptor. The centre figure in the tympanum, holding a sword in the left hand and scales in the right, is Justice. The figure immediately to its left represents the lost soul begging for protection from it.
