Addis Ababa, Ethiopia: Menelik II Square (formerly Adawa square) - Menelik II was an emperor known for establishing the city of Addis Ababa and having led the Ethiopian troops in 1895 in the battle of Adoua repelling Italian penetration, a victory obtained on St. Georges day.\nThe bronze equestrian statue was cast in Germany in 1928, under the orders of Empress Zewditu, the daughter of Menelik II, designed by the German architect Hartl Spengler. It was dedicated by Emperor Haile Selassie in November 1st 1930 on the day before his coronation. (over 75 years old)

Gustav on horseback, representing his military achievements in Swedish history, is located in the courtyard in front of the Nordic Museum near Stockholm's Djurgården. \n\nThe sculpture is attributed to the Swedish sculptor Johan Peter Molin (1814-1873). The work was created in the mid-19th century and depicts the Swedish king Charles X Gustav.

Facial expressions of the individuality of the Mustangs in Williams Square drew me back again to try and capture that wild look that I was looking for. I first noticed the difference in large number of bronze statues in the Cattle Drive Exhibit in down town Dallas. I had looked at those 30 odd cows over and over and finally realized it was there if I looked for individuality. It paid off with the mustangs as well.

Cayenne, French Guiana: Felix Éboué monument (1957), erected in homage to Félix Éboué (1884-1944), born in Cayenne, colonial administrator, early resistance fighter during World War II. The monument was designed by the architect Jean François Devallière. The statue created by the metropolitan sculptor Maurice Gardon, replaced the Merlet fountain, installed in 1867. The statue is framed by a masonry portico, decorated on each side by a bas-relief. The Place des Palmistes as well as the Monument to Félix Éboué have been classified as historical monuments.
