Perth, Australia - March 5, 2014: Yagan statue on Heirisson Island in Perth. The statue was Erected in 1984 to commemorate the Aboriginal warrior Yagan. Yagan was killed in 1833 by a British settler after a series of burglaries and robberies led to a bounty for his capture, dead or alive.

According to legend, Stoertebeker  was a pirate and one of the leaders of the Vitalienbrueder, also known as the Likedeeler. Klaus Stoertebeker was beheaded in Hamburg on October 21, 1401 with 72 companions. The memorial was unvailed on June 27, 1992 on the market square in Marienhafe.
