Flowers white , veined and tinged with purplish-red. 10-18mm, tubular 2 lipped, the lower lip 3-lobed, borne in leafy racemes.\nHabitat: Wet places, meadows, marshes, river and stream banks, ditches.\nFlowering Season: May-October.\nDistribution: Belgium, Holland, France and Germany. From W and C Europe to W Asia.\n\nThis is a rare Species in the Netherlands. The Picture is made in my Garden Pond.\nThe Plant is Poisonous but in the past used as Herbal Medicine.
