It was located in Monastir (present day Bitola, Republic of Macedonia). The buildings of the school have been used museums since 1934 (today NI Institute and Museum Bitola).

Jewish synagogues , Zamość Synagogue, was built between 1610 and 1618 Zamość in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The synagogue had functioned as a place of worship until World War II, when the Nazis turned the interior into a carpenters’ workshop. The first Jews settled in Zamość in 1588, eight years after the founding of the town by kanclerz Jan Zamoyski.
