In eastern Antioquia is a town of potters called Carmen de Viboral, famous for making white tableware cheerfully decorated with designs of various flowers.\n\nThe white clay, the main ingredient, comes from the same land on which the town is located. The kaolin comes from La Unión, the feldspars from eastern Antioquia and clay from the neighboring municipality of Rionegro.
