Looking at the Weimarer Fürstengruft from the west direction, showing the Russian Orthodox Chapel behind it. The chapel was built in the 18th century and served as a place of worship for the Russian royal family.\n\nThe Peterhof Palace Chapel features beautiful Baroque architecture and exquisite interior decorations. It was designed to resemble a small church, with a nave, apse, and small dome. The chapel's walls are adorned with frescoes, and the altar is richly decorated with ornate carvings and religious icons.\n\nThe chapel was used for private religious services and ceremonies attended by the royal family and their close associates. It provided a place for the Romanovs to practice their Orthodox Christian faith within the palace complex.\n\nPeterhof Palace Chapel is open to visitors as part of the Grand Palace tour.
