The beautiful Baroque dome of the church of Santa Maria in Montesanto in Piazza del Popolo, between Via del Babuino and Via del Corso, in the Piazza di Spagna district, in the historic heart of Rome. The church of Santa Maria in Montesanto was built in Baroque style in 1662 based on a project by Gian Lorenzo Bernini (1598-1680).
