The image was captured on old-fashioned ISO 400 (grainy) 35mm black and white film by an analogue (or analog) 35 mm film camera with a red filter to darken the sky. The granularity in the image is real film grain (due to the presence of small particles of a metallic silver on the negative). Minimal post processing has been done (only adjustment of histogram). The image is part of a series of a harbour (or harbor) on the Greek Island of Chios.

From July 22nd to 26th, 2019, Bundeswehr exercises were held at the lake Kochelsee in Upper Bavaria. An airplane, an M 28, flies over the lake Kochelsee with parachutists, while skydiving over water is practiced. Parachutists are brought ashore by divers and lifeguards in boats. In serious duty the paratroopers have to swim ashore. Jumping over water is an emergency scenario, because usually the parachutists land on land.
