John Barry Statue in Fall Color\nIndependence Hall, Philadelphia\nJohn Barry (March 25, 1745 – September 13, 1803) was an officer in the Continental Navy during the American Revolutionary War and later in the United States Navy.   This bronze statue of John Barry was sculpted by Samuel Murray (1869-1941) in 1907.

The memorial to Robert Gould Shaw and the Massachusetts Fifty-Fourth Regiment is a bronze relief sculpture (c. 1897) by Augustus Saint-Gaudens opposite the Massachusetts State House, at the edge of the Boston Common. It depicts Colonel Robert Gould Shaw leading members of the 54th Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry as it marched down Beacon Street on May 28, 1863 to depart the city to fight in the South. This is the first civic monument to pay homage to the heroism of African American soldiers

The Memorial to Robert Gould Shaw by Augustus Saint-Gaudens opposite the State Capitol Building on Boston Common). Robert Gould Shaw is seen leading members of the 54th Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry 1863. The sculpture was unveiled on May 31, 1897. the first civic monument to pay homage to the heroism of African American soldiers.

Seattle, Washington state, United States: Smith Tower - Pioneer Square neighborhood, Downtown, the central business district district -  Smith Tower is the oldest skyscraper in the city of Seattle. The 147.5 meter high building was the tallest free-standing structure on the West Coast of the United States from its completion in 1914 until the Space Needle was constructed in 1962. The building was named after its builder, the firearms and later typewriter manufacturer Lyman Cornelius Smith (1834–1910). The Smith Tower is an example of neoclassical architecture. The facade of the two lowest floors is made of granite , while that of the remaining ones is made of terracotta. Designed by Gaggin & Gaggin architects.
