According to legend, Stoertebeker  was a pirate and one of the leaders of the Vitalienbrueder, also known as the Likedeeler. Klaus Stoertebeker was beheaded in Hamburg on October 21, 1401 with 72 companions. The memorial was unvailed on June 27, 1992 on the market square in Marienhafe.

Joseph Hooker was an American Civil War general for the Union, chiefly remembered for his decisive defeat by Confederate General Robert E. Lee at the Battle of Chancellorsville in 1863. The Massachusetts State House is the state capitol and seat of government for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, located in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Boston.
