A caiman (Caimaninae) is a subfamily of crocodilians, belonging to the family alligators and caimans (Alligatoridae). Caiman lives mainly in Central and South America, near forests, swamps and rivers. The fourth tooth in the lower jaw is not visible from the outside in caimans and alligators, but it is in crocodiles!
