Comprising 252 caves and niches and 51000 statues with a carved area of 18000 square meters. A historical milestone fused by Chinese and Western culture in the fifth century A.D. The Buddha status here are well-preserved and uniquely shaped, making it an immersive journey.

Grotto No.18 was obviously f a little bit Gandhara style, which was the blending western and eastern cultures. Grotto No.18 was the most luxurious grotto in Yungang. The face of statue in center was sculptured according to Emperor Taiwu of Northern Wei (Tuoba Tao). The kasaya with thousands of Buddhas was memorized the buddhists he killed in his region.
