The Choptank River Lighthouse, situated at the end of Pier A at Long Wharf Park in Cambridge, Maryland, casts a reflection on the glassy waters of the Choptank River in the early morning. The white hexagon-shaped structure stands on pilings, its red roof making it easy to identify.

The Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse is located in the North Carolina coastal town of Manteo. Three other lighthouses preceded this one, which was built in 2004. It is at the end of a 120-foot long dock which reaches out into the Shallowbag Bay. Photo was taken in late July 2024.
