Bodie, California is an old gold mine town located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The town’s people left making Bodie a ghost town. In the wake of people leaving, the mine machinery was also abandoned and left behind, creating a museum of sorts. Bodie, California is now part of a State Park. Tourists from around the world visit the ghost town every year.

Interiors remain as they were left with goods, furniture, and equipment. The National Historic Site and State Historic Park is preserved in arrested decay.
