Fruit a cluster of pod-like follicles, with nectaries at the base.\nHabitat: Wet meadows, marshes, fens, ditches and wet woodland.\nFlowering Season: March-August.\nDistribution: Throughout Europe, except Spitsbergen.\nThe Species is poisonous, but widely cultivated in Gardens and Parks.\n\nThe Species is quite common in the described Habitats in the Netherlands.$
