The Sterling Highway on its way into Cooper Landing in Alaska. The Kenai River runs through Cooper Landing and is the longest river in the Kenai Peninsula of south central Alaska. It runs 82 miles westward from Kenai Lake in the Kenai Mountains, through the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge and Skilak Lake to its outlet into the Cook Inlet of the Pacific Ocean near Kenai and Soldotna.

As the seasons begin to change from Summer to Fall, those who are traveling through Alaska may be blessed with a dramatic scene. The colors were bright and vibrant and were enhanced with an early topping of snow. It was an amazing sight to experience.
