Potsdam, Germany - October 28, 2012: View to the Park Neuer Garten and the building named Marble Palace (Marmorpalais) at the banks of the lake Heiliger See in autumn. The Marmorpalais (marble palace) was a palace built in the Neuen Garten in Potsdam, on the shores of the Heiligen Sees. It was commissioned by Frederick William II of Prussia and designed in the early classicist style by the architects Carl von Gontard and (from 1789) Carl Gotthard Langhans, designer of Berlin's Brandenburg Gate.
