The Church of St. Gertrude is the patron church of St. Gertrude, a hamlet of Ultimo, in South Tyrol. It is part of the deanery of Lana-Tesimo in the diocese of Bolzano-Bressanone and dates back to the fourteenth century. The church dates back to the thirteenth century and is characterized by a Gothic style. It has a simple but elegant façade, with an ornate portal and a large rose window in the center. The interior has a single nave, with frescoes and paintings dating back to the fifteenth century decorating the walls. The church is dedicated to St. Gertrude, a German saint who lived in the twelfth century, and also houses a relic of the saint. The Church of St. Gertrude is an important place of worship for the community of Ultimo and an important historical and artistic site in the region
