A dreamcatcher is a traditional Native American object, originally crafted by the Ojibwe people, consisting of a wooden hoop with a woven web, often decorated with feathers and beads. Traditionally hung above sleeping areas, dreamcatchers were believed to filter dreams, trapping bad ones in the web while allowing good dreams to pass through. In the 20th century, they spread beyond Indigenous communities and became popular worldwide as decorative gifts and souvenirs, often made with artificially coloured feathers and adapted designs, though their commercialization has sparked discussions about cultural appropriation.

Traditionally, dreamcatchers are often hung over cradles as protection. Some of them include certain sacred items such as feathers or beads. These are made with leather, feathers, and beads. The rock formation on the background makes a beautiful background.
