Diagonalbanded Sweetlips Plectorhinchus lineatus occurs in the tropical Western Pacific from Ryukyu Islands to Ogasawara Islands to the Great Barrier Reef and New Caledonia in a depth range from 1-35m, max. length 72cm but rarely more than 60cm. The species lives solitary or in groups, looking for benthic mollusks and crustaceans and some little fish mainly during night, whilst at day it rests among the rocks and corals. \nTriton Bay, West Papua Province, Indonesia, \n3°55'1.0977 S 134°6'4.6351 E at 16m depth.

The Red Sea is a rich and diverse ecosystem. More than 1200 species of fish have been recorded in the Red Sea, and around 10% of these are found nowhere else. This also includes 42 species of deepwater fish. The rich diversity is in part due to the 2,000 km (1,240 mi) of coral reef extending along its coastline; these fringing reefs are 5000–7000 years old and are largely formed of stony acropora and porites corals. The reefs form platforms and sometimes lagoons along the coast and occasional other features such as cylinders (such as the Blue Hole (Red Sea) at Dahab). These coastal reefs are also visited by pelagic species of Red Sea fish, including some of the 44 species of shark.

Reticulated Pufferfish Arothron reticularis occurs in the Indo-West Pacific from India eastward through Indonesia to New Guinea, northward to southern Japan, southward to northern Australia in a depth range from 1-25m, max. length 45cm. The solitary species is often encountered in shallow water reefs near sand or seaweed areas. And also found in estuaries and protected muddy bays. This specimen was encountered at the Iro Wreck. The oil tanker Iro, a 143 meter wreck since March 1944, WWII, was ordered by the Japanese Navy during the 1920´s building programs. Although heavily overgrown with black coral and sponges, the torpedo hole is still clearly visible. The hull of the wreck stands upright between 15 m and 36 m water depth, the masts reach into shallow water. Palau, Iro Wreck 7°17'39.7 N 134°25'15.18 E at 22m depth
