The black-winged dragonfly belongs to the family of dragonflies, and is a very primitive insect. It is distributed in Henan, Shandong, Anhui, Jiangsu, Fujian, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Guangxi, etc. The face is dark and hairy. Except for the slightly lighter base color of the front lip, the rest of the body and the top of the head are all blue-green or blue-brown with a metallic luster. The back of the head is brown, with hair on the rear edge. The prothorax is black. The front of the sternum is blue-green with thick hair, and the side of the sternum is dark green with sparse hair. Most of the wings are black with blue-green flashes, and a small part is transparent. The hind wings are black; the area from the wing base to the wing knot and the end of the elbow vein of the forewing is black, with a small black spot at the end of the wing, and the rest is transparent and colorless.
