A collection of some of my favorite recent images of old homesteads and farms in my area.Shot in monochrome,a favorite of mine.The snow and mood and lighting was superlative for these shots.Suitable for a wide variety of creative ideas.I have further images from this theme and will add them in the future

Architectural detail from an old abandoned and partly ruined house in Greece. The image was captured on black and white grainy ISO 400 film by an analogue film camera and a short telephoto prime lens. The granularity is real film grain (due to the presence of small particles of a metallic silver on the negative). The negative was captured by a a digitizer kit connected to a 60mm f/2.8 macro lens and a full-frame DSLR camera, and converted to a positive by software. Minimal post processing has been done (only adjustment of histogram). The image is part of a series of abandoned and partly ruined houses.
