HMS Warrior is a 40-gun steam-powered armoured frigate built for the Royal Navy in 1859–1861. She was the name ship of the Warrior-class ironclads.

The ironclad HMS Warrior was built in 1860 and was the fastest, largest and most powerful warship of her time, being powered by both steam and sail. However, ship design moved very quickly and within a few years she was obsolete, having never fired a shot in anger. After a varied career, she eventually became a tourist attraction at Portsmouth.

Boston, Mass, USA -- 1991: The USS Constitution's cannons are non-firing replicas, though a few are modern, operational 40mm guns used for daily salutes. Historically, during the War of 1812, the ship carried 30 long guns on its gun deck and 24 carronades on its spar deck, plus one forward chase gun. The current replica guns were mostly cast during the 1927-1931 restoration, but two are 1812-era replica carronades cast in 1981.
