Magnificent and amazing underwater world of the tropical ocean.
Redbelly Yellowtail Fusilier Caesio cuning occurs in the tropical Indo-West Pacific from Sri Lanka to Vanuatu, to southern Japan and to northern Australia in a depth range from 1-60m, max. length 60cm. The species inhabits coastal areas, usually over rocky and coral reefs forming schools in midwater, feeding on zooplankton. The species is often encountered in silty areas with low visibility at 1-30 m depth. \nSome other fishes like a Rabbitfish, two species of Sergeant Major Fishes and three species of Snappers, Surgeonfishes, Butterflyfishes, Damselfishes a Parrotfish are there. \nTriton Bay, Kaimana Regency, Indonesia, 3°51'36.6 S 133°58'17.55 E at 5m depth

The Red Sea is a rich and diverse ecosystem. More than 1200 species of fish have been recorded in the Red Sea, and around 10% of these are found nowhere else. This also includes 42 species of deepwater fish. The rich diversity is in part due to the 2,000 km (1,240 mi) of coral reef extending along its coastline; these fringing reefs are 5000–7000 years old and are largely formed of stony acropora and porites corals. The reefs form platforms and sometimes lagoons along the coast and occasional other features such as cylinders (such as the Blue Hole (Red Sea) at Dahab). These coastal reefs are also visited by pelagic species of Red Sea fish, including some of the 44 species of shark.

Diagonalbanded Sweetlips Plectorhinchus lineatus occurs in the tropical Western Pacific from Ryukyu Islands to Ogasawara Islands to the Great Barrier Reef and New Caledonia in a depth range from 1-35m, max. length 72cm but rarely more than 60cm. The species lives solitary or in groups, looking for benthic mollusks and crustaceans and some little fish mainly during night, whilst at day it rests among the rocks and corals. \nTriton Bay, West Papua Province, Indonesia, \n3°55'1.0977 S 134°6'4.6351 E at 16m depth.

A school of fish swimming in turquoise ocean water. The fish are of different sizes and colors, with the largest one being a silver fish with black stripes. The water is a beautiful turquoise color and you can see the ocean floor in the background. The fish are swimming around rocks and coral, which are visible in the bottom right corner of the photo. The photo was taken from a low angle, looking up at the fish. The photo has a lively and colorful mood, as it captures the diversity and movement of the marine life.

Ribboned Sweetlips Plectorhinchus polytaenia occurs in the tropical Indo-West Pacific from West Coast India to Australia in a depth range from 5-40m on coastal and seaward reefs, max. length 50cm. The species is found singly, in small groups under ledges or large resting aggregations by day, foraging for small invertebrates at night. Adults are found on deep, current-prone slopes with rich invertebrate growth; juveniles on sheltered reefs nearby. \nBluestreak Cleaner Wrasses Labroides dimidiatus usually occur in pairs in the tropical Indo-Pacific in a depth range from 1-40m, usually 1-30m, max. length 14cm. The species creates 'cleaning stations' to which fishes come to have crustacean ectoparasites and mucus removed. Cleaning intensity is not related to client size or commonness. Even hands of divers will be cleaned if presented to the cleaning station! \nThis specimen was encountered in the Triton Bay, Kaimana Regency, West Papua Province, Indonesia, 3°54'50.604 S 134°6'0.828 E at 15m depth.
