Cosmos sulphureus, which is native to Mexico and commonly called yellow cosmos or orange cosmos, is now grown all over including North America, Asia and Europe. This annual plant produces daisy-like flowers with flower colors ranging from yellow to orange to scarlet red. Orange cosmos normally blooms in Japan from July to October, depending upon the timing of seeding.
