Carolina jasmine, also called ‘Gelsemium sempervirens’ (scientific name), is known for its brilliant display of fragrant, bright yellow flowers. This flowering plant in the family of Gelsemiaceae is native to southeastern United States and has beautiful emerald, green foliage. Its vine climbs beautifully on a trellises, arbors, fences and walls.
Senna septemtrionalis flowers are in bloom, the color is yellow with long curved pistils and the leaves are green in the shape of a sharp oval. This species is also known as Smooth senna, Arsenic bush, dooleyweed or laburnum.

Canna, or Canna lily, is rhizomatous perennial with tropical-like foliage and large flowers that resemble iris flowers, which come in shades of red, pink, orange, yellow, brown and white colors. Although canna is originally plant of tropics, most cultivars have been developed in temperate climates and are grown now in most countries of the world.
