Bodie, California is an old gold mine town located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The town’s people left making Bodie a ghost town. In the wake of people leaving, the mine machinery was also abandoned and left behind, creating a museum of sorts. Bodie, California is now part of a State Park.
