27 october 2022, Basse Ham, Thionville Portes de France, Moselle, Lorraine, Grand Est, France. In the forest, a Red-cracking Bolete has grown in a bed of fallen leaves. The stipe of the mushroom is brown. the cap of the mushroom has a cracked dark brown layer which shows a lighter background. The shape of the mushroom cap is regular. It is a mature specimen.
