This captivating image captures the ethereal flight of a mosquito, its wings beating rhythmically against a pristine white canvas.

The Asian tiger mosquito, often referred to as the forest mosquito, originally hails from the tropical and subtropical regions of Southeast Asia. However, in recent centuries, it has spread to various countries worldwide, primarily as a result of the movement of goods and international travel. It is identifiable by the distinct white bands on its legs and body.
