Oban, UK - August 14, 2011: The entrance to the Oban Distillery in the west coast town of Oban in Argyll, Scotland. The distillery was built in 1794, before Oban existed as a town, and the town grew up around it. The distillery is currently owned by the Diageo organization.
This is historic Haworth, Yorkshire, England, UK, home of the Bronte sisters.  The village is bedecked in bunting and union flags as it celebrates the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.  This image is of the Fleece Inn, a pub near the top of the high street that took the celebrations especially  seriously.
