GRANGEMOUTH, SCOTLAND – 29 MARCH 2024: The Kelpies, a pair of 30-meter-high horse head sculptures located in The Helix parkland near Falkirk. Designed by artist Andy Scott, these monumental sculptures pay tribute to Scotland’s horse-powered heritage and mythical kelpie water spirits. The structures have become a celebrated landmark, attracting tourists and photographers from around the world.

Rhodes Memorial, the Cape Town monument to the controversial colonialist Cecil John Rhodes (1853-1902). The monument was designed by the celebrated architect Sir Herbert Baker (1862-1946). The equestrian statue named Energy was created by the sculptor George Frederic Watts 1817-1904) and the lions by John Macallan Swan (1846-1910). The monument, which lies on the slopes of Devil's Peak, adjacent to Table Mountain, was completed in 1912.
