Tourists and restaurants visible near Kraków's Town Hall Tower (Wieża Ratuszowa), located on the iconic Rynek Główny Square, is the last remaining part of the original Gothic town hall, which was demolished in 1820. Built in the 14th century, the 70-meter (230-foot) tall tower leans slightly due to a 17th-century storm. Constructed from limestone and brick, it features a baroque-style dome added after a fire in 1680. Visitors can climb its steep staircase for panoramic views of the city.

Town Hall Tower stands in the western part of the Main Market Square in the Old Town district of Kraków. The Tower is the only remaining part of the old Kraków Town Hall demolished in 1820. Its cellars once housed a city prison with a Medieval torture chamber. Built of stone and brick at the end of the 14th century, the massive Gothic tower of the early Town Hall stands 70 metres tall and leans 55 centimetres. The Main Market Square of the Old Town in Krakow dates back to the 13th century and is called the largest medieval market square in Europe.
