In Piedmont, at the end of the Lanzo Valley, there is an incredibly high mountain pasture, Pian della Mussa, surrounded by a wall of imposing mountain peaks. The terrible storm wind blows away the leaves of the larch trees, the snow has already fallen a few days earlier, winter is coming. In the evening, the mountain range casts longer shadows into the valley.
