The Rock of Manerba is a place of natural and historical interest. The hill was continuously inhabited since the Neolithic and up to the sixteenth century, when the army of the Republic of Venice destroyed the existent fortified buildings. Today the Natural Park of the Rock of Manerba protects a diverse variety of plant species belonging to different climates, living with beneficial effect of the lake. Among the different paths that cross the park, one arrives to the ruins of the ancient settlement, return to light after an archaeological campaign in 2002.
