Westminster Abbey, formally titled the Collegiate Church of Saint Peter at Westminster, is an Anglican church in the City of Westminster, London, England. Architecturally, this part of the cathedral is notable for its Gothic style, featuring pointed arch windows, decorative tracery, and flint and stone construction. The retro-choir is a significant medieval feature, dating back to the 13th century, and is one of the oldest surviving parts of the cathedral. It is known for its beautiful vaulting and historical importance, as it was once used for processions and additional worship space.
