The Phra Prang Sam Yot in Lopburi was built for Hinduism. Later, it was converted into a Buddhist temple. There are still ruined Lopburi Buddha images left as evidence. Many monkeys live in the area.

Monkeys at the Phra Prang Sam Yot, Lopburi’s best known landmark and one of its oldest. It is one of several monuments that date back to the Khmer era. The temple is best known for the large number of monkeys that run around free, constantly on the lookout for food. Lopburi is located about 150 kilometres north-east of Bangkok.
