Digitally generated Chornobyl NPP (the original/old sarcophagus covering the destroyed reactor no. 4) on a dark and cloudy day.\n\nThe scene was created in Autodesk® 3ds Max 2024 with V-Ray 6 and rendered with photorealistic shaders and lighting in Chaos® Vantage with some post-production added.
Chernobyl Nuclear reactor 4 which exploded in 1986
The builders have begun dismantling the unfinished nuclear power plant in the Shchelkino village in the Crimea. The territory was fenced off, the passage of unauthorized persons is prohibited. Heavy construction equipment began operating at the site.\n\nThe most difficult to demolish is the reactor hall. The huge building will be dismantled gradually over the course of the year.\n\nThe construction of a nuclear power plant in Crimea began in the 1980s. But after the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, construction in Crimea was stopped. The nuclear power plant was never put into operation. The buildings have stood unfinished for over 30 years.
