This is the countryside in south region of Sardinia, just inland of Costa Rei. The dry summer climate allows for colorful shrubs and straw-like grass. In the background are the Sulcis Mountains. This picture was taken later in the afternoon, which gave the arid area warmer tones. A short hike from the roadside allowed for a more open scene of the meadow.
