This Powwow was celebrated in White Rock, British Columbia, Canada on 10 March 2018. The Squamish Nation's annual powwow is a gathering of First Nations communities to honour their culture, share, respect, dance and drum. Their heritage is respected by all ages. The Indigenous Peoples Day was celebrated at Plaza Santa Fe, New Mexico on 14 October 2024. It was a colourful and welcoming event as Native Americans from across the United States came together to honour their history and culture. Following the Grand Entry were several inter-tribal dances where all were welcome to join in and or photograph. The traditional dress, feathers, beads, jingle dresses, were stunning.
