The Great White Pelican, Pelecanus onocrotalus also known as the rosy pelican is a bird in the pelican family.

Photograph taken at 14.41pm on Friday 16th February 2024, in James's Park in Central London. The Pelicans are known as the Ambassadors Pelicans. Originally given as a gift from the Russian Ambassador to King Charles II in 1664. Since that time there have been over 40 Pelicans in the park.
