Semiahmoo First Nations and Ear Marriott Secondary School in White Rock, British Columbia, Canada celebrated this powwow from 9-11 March 2018. Powwows are opportunities for First Nations to gather together, honouring and sharing their traditions. The general public is welcome. A jingle dancer pauses to look at her cell phone!

The Squamish Nation's annual powwow is a gathering of First Nations communities to honour their culture, share, respect, dance and drum. Their heritage is respected by all ages.
