The artwork is painted on a large number of porcelain tiles and is over 100 metres in length. Originally crafted in paint, the image was replaced with 23,000 Meissen porcelain tiles between 1904 and 1907 and displays portraits of the 35 rulers of the House of Wettin between 1127 and 1904.
