Troodon was a carnivorous small dinosaur that lived in North America during the Cretaceous Period.
The marabou stork (Leptoptilos crumeniferus), also known as the African stork, is a stork species found in sub-Saharan Africa and is distributed south of the Sahara Desert. They inhabit wet and arid environments, including areas close to human habitation such as garbage dumps. African storks live in areas near rivers, lakes, swamps, grasslands and even human settlements. They are social, diurnal birds that fly slowly and heavily. They are sedentary and have a delicate, expandable pouch (throat pouch) under their neck used for courtship displays. Their diet consists primarily of carrion of various animals, but they also eat insects, fish, rodents, and birds.

A large, black, and conspicuous waterbird, the cormorant has an almost primitive appearance with its long neck making it appear reptilian. It is often seen standing with its wings held out to dry. Regarded by some as sinister and greedy, cormorants are supreme fishers which can bring them into conflict with anglers, thus causing them to be persecuted in the past. The UK holds internationally significant wintering numbers

Hadada Ibis.\nThe hadeda ibis (Bostrychia hagedash) is an ibis native to Sub-Saharan Africa. It is named for its loud three to four note calls uttered in flight especially in the mornings and evenings when they fly out or return to their roost trees. Although not as dependent on water as some ibises, they are found near wetlands and often live in close proximity to humans, foraging in cultivated land and gardens. A medium-sized ibis with stout legs and a typical down-curved bill, the wing coverts are iridescent with a green or purple sheen. They are non-migratory but are known to make nomadic movements in response to rain particularly during droughts. Their ranges in southern Africa have increased with an increase in tree cover and irrigation in human-altered habitats.
