Zoomed in picture of some of the details on the famous Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, located in Florence. Construction started in the 1200's by the design of Arnolfo di Cambio, it took around 140 years to complete, in 1436. The cathedral's dome was designed by architect Filippo Brunelleschi and the bell tower by Giotto di Bondone. The cathedral's current facade was done by Emilio De Fabris in the 19th century.
