The rocky shore or beach on the Greek Island of Chios in the Aegean Sea on a sunny afternoon in summer. Many refugees travelling from Turkey (the coastline seen in the background) to Greece have landed on this particular beach. The image was captured with a prime lens and a full frame DSLR camera at low ISO resulting in large clean files.

The image was captured on old-fashioned 35mm daylight ISO 200 film by an analogue (or analog) 35 mm film camera. The granularity in the image is real film grain (due to the presence of small particles of dyed silver halide on the negative). Minimal post processing has been done (only adjustment of histogram). The image is part of a series of a harbour (or harbor) on the Greek Island of Chios.
